This 2 day Workshop will inspire you and give you practical knowledge to progress your current Yoga practice.
Bring a fresh energy to your Yoga practice with input from an experienced teacher.
Jean Campbell has been teaching Yoga for nearly 30 years and training Yoga teachers since 2003.
Her understanding of anatomy and biomechanics allows her to offer very practical guidance on how to progress your practice - whether you are someone who wants to try more challenging postures or just to feel more comfortable in your body.
Building and maintaning upper body strength is important if we want to feel comfortable in our bodies. Many people suffer from neck pain, shoulder stiffness and problems in the wrists and hands.
Yoga has many postures that can prevent or alleviate these problems.
This workshop will focus on how to incorporate postures into your practice that will create this very important upper body strength as well as improve or maintain the flexibility of your shoulders and wrists.
We will cover:
postures that release tension from tight wrists, shoulders and neck
postures that strengthen the upper body, shoulders and neck
how to progress towards or improve your arm balances
how to progress towards or improve your inversions*
*Please note: Inversions are not for everyone. For some people they can cause discomfort and make existing conditions worse. Jean will provide safe options and alternatives that still give you many benefits without the need to do the full postures.

10am - 12pm: Asana practice
1pm - 5pm: Practical theory (includes 30 minute break)
