Lance Schuler
Lance is the director and owner of Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy. He developed after a lifetime of personal practice and teaching experience, the unique synergy of Vinyasa and Iyengar styles that is primarily taught at Inspya. Lance is the principle teacher on the course. He qualified as an Iyengar yoga instructor with the Australian School of Yoga in Sydney and has been a senior teaching instructor for teacher trainees with Yoga Arts Australia for over seven years. He has been practicing yoga for twenty two years and teaching for seventeen. He has special interests in martial arts, acrobatics and meditation. Lance also teachers trainees and delivers retreats and workshops across the world.
Simon Borg-Olivier
Simon Borg-Olivier MSc BAppSc (Physiotherapy) has been teaching yoga for 20 years throughout the world. He is a registered physiotherapist and is co-director of one of Australia's largest yoga schools - Yoga Synergy.
Dr. Douglas Graham
Dr. Douglas Graham, a lifetime athlete and twenty-seven-year raw fooder, is an advisor to world-class athletes and trainers from around the globe. He has worked professionally with top performers from almost every sport and field of entertainment, including such notables as tennis legend Martina Navratilova, NBA pro basketball player Ronnie Grandison, track Olympic sprinter Doug Dickinson, pro women's soccer player Callie Withers, Chicken Soup for the Soul coauthor Mark Victor Hansen, and actress Demi Moore.
Dr. Graham is the author of several books on raw food and health, including The High Energy Diet Recipe Guide, Nutrition and Athletic Performance, and the forthcoming Prevention and Care of Athletic Injuries. He has shared his strategies for success with audiences at more than 4,000 presentations worldwide. Recognized as one of the fathers of the modern raw movement, Dr. Graham is the only lecturer to have attended and given keynote presentations at all of the major raw events in the world, from 1997 through 2005.
Dr. Graham is a founder of and is currently serving his third term as president of Healthful Living International, the world's premier Natural Hygiene organization. He is on the board of advisors of Voice for a Viable Future, the Vegetarian Union of North America, Living Light Films, and EarthSave International. He serves as nutrition advisor to the magazine Exercise, for Men Only and authors a column for Get Fresh! and Living Nutrition magazines.
Dr. Graham is the creator of 'Simply Delicious' cuisine and director of Health & Fitness Weeks, which provide Olympic-class training and nutritional guidance to people of all fitness levels in beautiful settings around the world. He is living proof that eating whole, fresh, ripe, raw, organic food is the nutritional way to vibrant health and vitality.
Professor Rozalind Graham
Professor Rozalind Graham made the vegetarian choice as a young child once she made the connection that her animal friends were being served on her plate. Despite her efforts to build her health it deteriorated until disordered eating nearly took her life at the age of 23, when she adopted the philosophy of Natural Hygiene.
She has a Professorship in Applied Nutrition, previously served as Senior National Course Director and Assessor of Exercise Teacher Training in the UK. Currently, Prof. Graham is the proud, full-time mother to her 100% raw daughter Faychesca. In addition she has authored her first book Stay Fit After Fifty: Your Guide to Well-being in the Second Half of Life. Awarded for her public speaking, Professor Graham can transform the complexities of physiology into a compelling fairy-tale, while her experience and integrity will steal your heart.
Clive Sheridan
Clive Sheridan was born in the UK and spent many years studying and practicing Hatha Yoga, exploring the subtle and creative aspects of this art and science. Asana, Pranayama and Meditation, have been his channels to awaken the energies of body, breath and mind revealing the inner mysteries of Yoga indicated in the old texts. Advaita and Tantra are the source of the teachings that Clive shares for living in the present, in harmony and joy, in man's ever challenging world. In his Satsangs, he reminds us of our potential to 'Open the Heart and Clear the Mind'. Clive has been giving Yoga retreats and workshops in Europe, Asia and more recently, in Australia since the mid-70's. After spending half his life in India, he is now residing in the hills outside Byron Bay.
Philipp Lemke
Phil started practising Yoga in 1992. He lived in India for seven years, studying Buddhist & Hindu Traditions of Philosophy, Meditation, and Yoga. His initial Yoga Teacher Training was at the Bihar School of Yoga (Satyananda), he also completed a 9 month Yoga Arts Teacher Training Certification. Phil teaches in Europe, Asia & Australia and is currently one of the core teachers on the 2 and 9 month Yoga Teacher Training courses with Yoga Arts. In addition to this he writes manuals for Yoga Teacher Training programs around the world. His main passion is to preserve the essence and ancient traditions of Yoga, and finding ways of integrating them into modern life.
Libbie Nelson
Libbie Nelson works as a physiotherapist, yoga teacher and yoga therapist, practising and working in Byron Bay and surrounds. Her training is with BKS Iyengar and his senior teachers as well as AG Mohan and Indra Mohan, Donna Farhi. She also draws on her training in Oriental Medicine including Ayurveda, Aupuncture and herbs, Buddhism and Western Allopathic and Alternative Western Medicine to support her practice as yoga as therapy.
She has taught yoga, general and therapy classes for over twenty years. She has taught yoga therapy to yoga teachers and teacher trainees for over ten years
Claire Priestley
Claire has been working with Lance for 4 years and teaches general classes for Inspya in Byron Bay. Recently Lance and Claire completed the dynamic and innovative Partner Yoga DVD which they co-wrote and produced. Claire has also co-produced and performed the asanas in "Yoga for Me and My Baby", a pre and post-natal yoga DVD. Claire has a highly disciplined yoga practise for over 8 years and lives in Byron with her husband and two children.
