PRE-REQUISITE FOR LEVELS I AND II
We require students to have two years of consistent dedicated yoga practice (recognizing that the training will be both challenging and intense at certain times). Students must also satisfactorily complete the application questionnaire.
In preparation for the detox please ensure the following dietary changes: no tea, coffee, alchohol, recreational drugs, sugar or other "white" products (including salt), dairy products or any meats, for at least one month prior to commencement of the course.
VENUE
The yoga day retreat space at Inspya consists of a large airy, fully equipped yoga studio and smaller lodge for meditation and general 'hang-out' for students. The studio is built on a environmentally sustainable design featuring the best of eco-architecture and Balinese style, eastern design elements. Large folding timber doors open the studio space up onto views of the tropical rainforest of the property and organic vegetable gardens. Views of the ocean are able to be seen from the deck of a tree-house bungalow, where students can also relax and recline in hammocks in between classes.
The lodge consists of a large open room with fully equipped kitchen, cooking facilities and fridge. There is a deck with hammocks and sunken bath, bathroom facilities and a large open courtyard with table and chairs for meals. Here refreshment facilities are available for student use throughout the day.
The peaceful tranquility of the Inspya property allows an ideal space to contemplate and inquire into the teachings.
ORIENTATION
We will hold an orientation meeting one day before the course starts at 2.pm to ensure students know where the classes will be held, to familiarize with day retreat facilities and to allow students to meet each other and their principal teachers. Student attendance at the orientation day is an essential requirement.
ATTENDANCE
Regular and punctual attendance is a mandatory requirement of the course to receive the final certification. 100% attendance is required to successfully complete the course or you may be ineligible to receive the qualification. If absence is required due to illness, this first needs to be detailed to the course director and classes missed will need to be made up at additional cost to the student.
